Fee of Making a Purchase
According to the official website of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, the fee to make a purchase is $3.75. As for those who want to make a purchase at the same time as making a deposit, the fee is $3.75 and 2.25% of the deposit.

Placing an eCommDirect Order
In order to place your eCommDirect order, you can follow the following instructions:

- The first thing that you should do is to go to texas.gov.
- Then, select SERVICES tab in the top left corner.
- Click the Commissary Purchase & Deposit
- Apart from that, you can also type “eCommDirect” in to the search bar.
- In the results, you will be able to find the link under Search Suggestions or Related Services.
- Please click it.
- When you are on the new page, read everything.
- After reading the whole thing, check the box to accept the terms and conditions.
- Then, click Confirm.
- In the next step, confirm search for an offender by entering their ID number and last name and clicking Search.
- Do not forget to review the information related to the offender.
